Supplementary materials

My two children go to school like the other children in the tiny island state I stay in. Since education is compulsory for about ten years here, it is an offence to any parent who do not send his child to school for no apparent reason as the child approaches his school going age.

However, I could not help but lament at the fact that too much is being covered in schools that merely doing schoolwork has indeed become inadequate. Supplementary materials is compulsory - kind of - unless your child is brilliant to ensure academic success.
