Initially very sceptical of the phrase "you are what you eat" as the image seem too absurd for me as a young adult. What? I look like a vegetable if I eat too much vegetable? I wondered back then - but I think there is a lot of truth in the phrase. I am even more convinced upon reading the article on 'The food-mood connection'.
The article focuses on how 21 million American adults actually suffers from mood disorders. This disorder partly stem from what they eat. Intriguing, I thought! I watch what I eat then, lest I become the very things I avoid to be! ;)
